Research on the visual concept for the book by Franz Kafka “The Complete Stories”. The word pasakojimai (lt.) (en. stories) literally meaning “tellings”, implies to be two parts – the actual event and the ‘telling’ about it by someone. Reality as it happened and the “reality” as told by the story-teller. It’s usually not about the actual fact, but rather about an individual perception of it. They are not in contrast to eatchother, but they do differ. To express this subtle difference between two sides, a divided triangle (the most active shape simbolising the event), shades and reflecting typography are used for the concept.
Techniques: personal photography, typography, digital printing.
